Their Story

Opening in the early 1970’s, Hoagie Haven was the first hoagie shop of its kind in the Princeton area. Located right on Nassau street in downtown Princeton, “The Haven” was made with college kids in mind. The store’s hours are opening in the morning until “late” and it is buzzing with college students and locals alike until the late hours of weekend nights.

What makes Hoagie Haven Unique

Hoagie Haven really is a sandwich shop like no other. The innovative and outrageous sandwich combinations cannot be replicated anywhere else, though others have tried. “The Haven” dominates the local hoagie game. Even hoagie giant Subway tried to open a location a few doors down, but had to quickly close because they could not compete with Hoagie Haven. The shop has been made famous by the willingness to try any combination.

A Unique Tradition  

It has become tradition to take a picture of you in your Hoagie Haven shirt around the world. There are pictures of people wearing shirts while skydiving, climbing mountains, the Grand Canyon, active military service members, even The Great Wall of China! The Phat Lady

The name pretty much says it all on this one. This loaded cheese steak is topped off with mozzarella sticks, fries, ketchup, and hot sauce. It is a whole new way to enjoy the classic cheese steak. If you order a Phat Lady, make sure you are ready to eat!

Mac Daddy

Another sandwich that we promise is like nothing you have ever seen before is the Mac Daddy. This is a bacon cheeseburger hoagie with mac and cheese wedges, fries, honey mustard, and hot sauce. This one can get a little messy, but it is definitely worth it.
